First off let me just say, this
movie WAS UNIMAGINABLY AMAZING! Pretty frickin awesome ,The way the colors and
graphics came together it made an excellent and digitally stunning film! NOW
this issssss a 3D Movie from Dreamworks -surprise surprise- BUT
it issss also
viewed in 2D. We saw the 2D and that was still stunning. From a 3D lover's Point
of View I can tell that in 3D, this film is even more awesome...The obvious use
of 3D techniques gives the viewer the comes-right-at-you experience we
expect....-unlike Titanic, that failed- The fact that the movie is a cartoon is
enough for most people to be weary of going, and it was the same with me
personally the other 2 movies didn't rock my socks, so I had no plans on
striving to see MAD.3 that's until Mom said Friday we're going. Arriving I
didn't expect much but some laughs, while during I almost spat my drink on the
person in front of me. Really, the characterization in this film is just epic.
The voices along with the physical movements of the characters make everything
hilarious! I'm a sucker for jokes that aren't even funny and I laugh at funny
manarisms...-ya I watch Family Guy- If I had to compare myself to any of the
MAD characters I would say I am King Julian, he is so full of himself that it is
hilarious, and he seems to always get in the way which happens many times in
this film. The Circus theme of the movie added the much needed -boom- to the
movie. Quite frankly the last ones were a bit "oh you're lost on an island
that's fun, Idk see why you'd wanna leave a private island but whatevs" and this
one was "OH no run! oh haha you silly Zebra" -da da da dad da da Circus, afro
circus da da afro circus! ON that note basically ALL the funny parts they show
you in the commercials and trailers is all within the first 3 minutes So right
off the bat you are Laughing...which is always a crowd pleasure. As critical of
a person that I am I really can't say bad comments about MAD3 it gives the humor
and characters we all love and want to love, while providing a real honest plot,
that is actually kind of heartwarming....the fun it was to watch those bright
colors and flickering images on that big loud screen was definately worth the
cost of admission...GO SEE IT! -or wait till it comes out- Have you seen it or
have any doubts of wanting to see it?
