[A short little thought]
Trust me I know, the last thing you want to think about beyond schoolwork, and general friends/family issues is servicing the needs of others. Not in terms of the good citizen duty of volunteering, but the forced to be here for eight hours a day, work week. Last week I was taught a good realization during the Civics class, (for once I learnt something at school.) My teacher had
stated a comment that I honestly can’t deny, “America is now a country of service jobs, and when you all become older you’re most likely going to be working in service jobs”. If you know what teacher I am speaking of feel free to complain in the comments, but I actually enjoy her way of things. She made a very wise statement!
If you dig deep you’ll see that during the Industrial Revolution, and bear with me on this history reference but the I.R. [1750-1850] In this time Engineering and Factor systems were discovered, and the life of luxury was a more commonly tossed around phrase. That being said we all owe it to the United Kingdom where everything started. After Steam power came along, oh the world took off in a productive storm! Moral of this paragraph, the I.R. was an era of a huge boom for growth of economic structure, individual wealth, and the building blocks for our modern day assembly lines in our factory systems.
Now, although we had this huge growth and still have the makings from it, America has drastically changed in terms of different wealth levels in society. In short, some have more then others (I know right, breaking news…not -_-). This brings different levels of needs etc. Luxury provides employment, someone has to run the establishments and that someone will most likely be you. NO matter where you go it will probably be in some way a service to someone else, it’s just the way it is now-a-days. Face the facts, but hey I never mind someone else making my food, making my bed, fetching me a warm towel at the hotel, or fixing my car! So unless you want to do all these things and more do your part and suffer through your fake smile and calm attitude as you deal with un-ruling bratty people all day, because you can always go on the other lines and relax due to others servicing, that being said give SERVICE PEOPLE A BREAK! This has been Justin McCrory educating you with opinion and Google obtained facts!
